Obamas Last Words on the Oil Spill
Obama's famous last words: Regarding the oil leaking a mile deep in the gulf, "We'll get to the bottom of this." Speaking of BP paying for the clean up, "We'll spare no expense." Seeing the murky mess in the water, "I want to make this clear." Speaking to the BP execs, "Make no mistake." Then trying to be the man in charge, "We're going to kick ass, when we find out whose ass to kick!"
The Government Runs So Well, We Can All Laugh About It
The political climate, of today, is certainly one that we can joke about. There is so much going on that is sooo funny and, at the same time, a bit frustrating. Sure we are going in debt trillions of dollars and moving towards socialism. Still, we can, at least, laugh about it on the way there.
The best political jokes are those that inspire us to change or do something different.
Famous Political Joke Comedians
Some of the best comedians, of all time, like Jay Leno or David Letterman, have all inspired us with some of the crazy stuff politicians do. For example, one thing that David Letterman said was this, "John McCain is angry with British Petroleum. But, in all fairness, he's had a grudge against the British since the Revolutionary War." Jay Leno, one day said this, "President Bush toured New Orleans today. He saw something that was below sea level. His approval ratings."
Political jokes are all about finding that sweet spot. Finding something that annoys us and joking about it is sure a lot better than complaining. For one thing, most people would rather hear a bad political joke than a good complaint.
